Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Implement and maintain predictive models like CLTV prediction, propensity modeling, and churn prediction using BigQuery and Snowflake.
  • Develop customer segmentation models using clustering techniques and behavioral analysis.
  • Build and maintain survival models to analyze customer lifecycle events.
  • Work with large-scale datasets using BigQuery and Snowflake.
  • Develop and validate machine learning models using Python and cloud-based ML platforms (BQ ML, ModelGarden, Amazon Bedrock).
  • Translate model insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Work with analytics and activation teams to implement model outputs.
  • Present analyses to stakeholders in clear and actionable formats.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in applied data science, preferably in marketing / retail. Technical Skills :
  • Proficiency in SQL and data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake).
  • Python for statistical modeling.
  • Machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
  • Statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
  • Data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Version control systems (Git).
  • Understanding of Google Cloud Function and Cloud Run

    • Preferred Experience :

  • CLTV modeling.
  • RFM analysis and customer segmentation.
  • Survival analysis and hazard modeling.
  • A / B testing and causal inference.
  • Feature engineering and selection.
  • Model validation and monitoring.
  • Cloud computing platforms (GCP / AWS / Azure).

  • Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience :
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a specific focus on Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehousing technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in building and managing Snowflake data warehouses.
  • Technical Skills :
  • Proficiency in Snowflake SQL and Snowflake features (Snowpipe, Data Sharing, etc.).
  • Strong SQL and experience in designing efficient data models.
  • Familiarity with ETL / ELT tools such as dbt, Apache Airflow, or Talend.
  • Working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly in data integration with Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Preferred Skills :
  • Snowflake certifications, such as SnowPro Core.
  • Experience in additional analytics or BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI. Soft Skills :
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communication and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
