Responsibilities :
1. ELV System Design and Integration : Oversee the design and engineering of
ELV systems, including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, fire alarm
systems, PA systems, and other low-voltage solutions. Ensure designs comply
with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. Optimize ELV
systems for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness through value
engineering.
2. Project Handover and Coordination : Facilitate the seamless handover of ELV
designs to the site team for execution. Collaborate with contractors, vendors,
and internal teams to address design-related queries and challenges. Provide
technical data and support to ensure alignment between design and execution.
3. Procurement and Vendor Management : Review and approve vendor designs,
ensuring they meet technical and project requirements. Provide technical
clearance to vendors and coordinate with the Supply Chain Management (SCM)
team for timely procurement and delivery of equipment.
4. Team Leadership and Development : Lead, train, and mentor the ELV design
team, ensuring consistent skill development and knowledge upgrades. Recruit
and build a high-performing team aligned with project and organizational goals.
5. Compliance and Documentation : Ensure all designs adhere to safety,
regulatory, and environmental standards. Prepare and maintain accurate
documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports for ELV systems.
Address client feedback and design gaps promptly to ensure satisfaction and
quality assurance.
6. Process Improvement and Innovation : Implement process improvements and
advanced tools to enhance the efficiency and quality of ELV designs. Stay
updated on emerging technologies and trends in ELV systems to introduce.
