We are looking for a Product Director – Communications to lead and elevate the way Toprankers communicates — through powerful content, engaging communities, and brand storytelling that drives growth and trust.
Role Overview
The Product Director – Communications will own the communication charter for the organization across both Performance Content (student-facing, business-impact content) and Community & Social Media (brand engagement, digital identity, and influencer ecosystem).
This is a leadership role combining strategic thinking, creative direction, and data-driven execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the creation and optimization of performance-driven content across digital and offline touchpoints — including campaigns, landing pages, video scripts, and learning journeys.
Partner with marketing, growth, and product teams to align communication with conversion goals and student engagement metrics.
Build frameworks for consistent tone, messaging, and storytelling across brands and exam verticals.
Oversee content calendars, creative briefs, and performance analysis to refine communication based on outcomes.
Mentor and guide content and copy teams to produce high-impact material that reflects Toprankers' academic and aspirational ethos.
Own the brand voice and presence across all social media and community platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Telegram, etc.).
Drive engagement-led initiatives, student communities, and influencer collaborations to build authentic brand affinity.
Plan and execute community growth strategies — AMAs, meetups, creator collabs, alumni stories, and student spotlights.
Monitor social sentiment, trends, and analytics to constantly evolve our online persona.
Build a strong content-creator ecosystem around Toprankers' student and mentor communities.
Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of writers, designers, and community managers.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Category Heads to ensure communication drives both brand equity and business outcomes.
Establish communication governance — tone, voice, and guidelines across brands.
Create a performance tracking and reporting culture within the communications function.
Qualifications & Experience
3-6 years of experience in brand communication, marketing content, or creative strategy roles, preferably in EdTech, Consumer Internet, or Media industries.
Strong understanding of both performance and brand communication.
Demonstrated experience managing creative teams and social media ecosystems.
Excellent storytelling, strategic thinking, and execution skills.
Data-driven mindset with a strong hold on content analytics and audience insights.
