About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Consultant / Developer (SAM) to join our offshore delivery team. This role requires deep expertise in ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Hardware Asset Management (HAM), along with proven experience in designing, configuring, and integrating enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of the ServiceNow SAM Pro Module and its ecosystem, with strong technical acumen and client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications with a focus on ITAM, SAM, and HAM.
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow engagements, ensuring timely and client-specific solution delivery.
- Configure and implement ServiceNow SAM Pro Module, Discovery, and Service Mapping (including MID Servers).
- Design and develop integrations with external enterprise systems using REST / SOAP APIs, Scripted APIs, Flow Designer, and Data Streams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across SAM modules and ITAM workflows.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce ServiceNow best practices, and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with architects to design scalable, secure, and high-performance ServiceNow solutions.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Fujitsu IP solutions within ServiceNow.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :
5+ years of ServiceNow design and development experience.Proven expertise in ServiceNow SAM Pro Module with minimum 2 full lifecycle implementations.Strong end-to-end experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) lifecycle processes.Hands-on experience with :SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)Software Asset WorkspacesSoftware Spend DetectionStrong working knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery & Service Mapping (MID Server setup and troubleshooting).Proven integration skills using REST / SOAP APIs, Scripted REST APIs, and Flow Designer.Programming expertise in Java / JavaScript.Experience creating and maintaining technical design and solution documents.Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred) :
