Job Title : CCTV & Network Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV & Network Technician with hands-on experience in IP camera installation, structured cabling, fiber splicing, switch configuration, and wireless network setup . The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of network fundamentals (CCNA level) and the ability to handle BOQ preparation, site surveys, and project execution with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• CCTV & IP Camera Installation
• Install, configure, and maintain analog and IP-based CCTV systems.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of surveillance systems.
• Ensure optimal camera coverage and recording quality.
• Networking & Configuration
• Configure and maintain network switches, routers, and access points.
• Support LAN / WAN setup, IP addressing, and VLAN configurations.
• Perform network diagnostics and resolve connectivity issues.
• Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling
• Carry out fiber splicing, termination, and OTDR testing .
• Install and label structured cabling systems (Cat6, Cat6A, Fiber).
• Ensure all cabling is installed according to standards and safety protocols.
• Site Survey & Project Planning
• Conduct site surveys to identify project requirements and scope of work.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion.
• Access Point & Wireless Setup
• Install and configure wireless access points and controllers.
• Optimize Wi-Fi coverage and performance across client environments.
