Job Summary
Responsible for defining and developing new products, manages cross-organization efforts to ensure approval, then directs their introduction. Plans, develops and implements new products. Products tend to be data- and technology-based (e.g., registration, ecommerce, search, directory, email, advertising products) products also tend to be special features for existing programs (e.g., travel products, entertainment, financial portfolios, up-sell tools, etc.). Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience. This role is for a product manager within the product management team of the ION organization. The ION organization manages outside plant data and owns many of the internal facing GIS based tools. To be successful in this role you will need to become an expert on cable and the intricacies of plant data. You will be responsible for guiding virtual development teams to build tools that are essential for our teams on the ground to manage the cable infrastructure

Responsible for managing the pricing, packaging and documenting new products ideas and conducts user need analyses for ancillary products so that subscriber and financial objectives are achieved. Manages ongoing product management of new and existing products. Conducts the budgeting, planning, analysis and monitoring required to ensure unit and financial targets are met for assigned products. This job is an individual contributor role that does not have direct responsibility for supervision or performance management of staff.
