Location :   Dehradun (Uttarakhand); Dakshin Kannada (Karnataka); Mirzapur‑Chandauli‑Sonbhadra (Uttar Pradesh); and Raisen‑Sehore‑Shajapur (Madhya Pradesh); Saraikela‑Kharaswan / West Singhbhum (Jharkhand); Puri‑Ganjam‑Nayagarh (Odisha); Sundergarh‑Jharsuguda (Odisha); Gajapati‑Kandhamal‑Boudh‑Sonepur (Odisha); and Dhanbad‑Giridih (Jharkhand)

Employment Type :  Full-Time

Experience Required :  3–4 Years

Qualification :  B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

Diploma holders are not eligible for this position.

Job Overview

We are hiring a qualified Mechanical / Electrical Engineer. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in electrical supervision within City Gas Distribution (CGD) infrastructure projects.

Summary

Responsible for day‑to‑day site supervision across multiple City Gas Distribution (CGD) project components, including pipeline laying and station installations. Ensures that construction activities conform to design specifications, applicable codes and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Site supervision : Oversee construction activities for CGS, CNG, LNG, steel pipeline, GI installations, PE pipeline laying and LMC works at each GA / location. Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Compliance and coordination : Verify that execution complies with design documents, codes and standards. Coordinate with contractors and the Resident Construction Manager (RCM) to resolve technical or scheduling issues.
• Quality and safety monitoring : Monitor site safety and quality; conduct inspections; record measurements and maintain daily / weekly progress reports.
• Commissioning support : Assist commissioning and start‑up activities, including participation in pre‑commissioning tests, preparation of as‑built documentation and support of system handover.
• Materials management : Liaise with the store in‑charge and SAP engineer to ensure materials are available, properly issued and recorded in the ERP system. Assist with material reconciliation and documentation.
