We are expanding our footprint in the Rajasthan region and are seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead our business growth and strengthen our relationships with architects, builders, and institutional clients.
Position Overview
The Area Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, developing market strategies, and building long-term partnerships within the building materials and architectural products domain. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, business acumen, and relationship management skills to achieve sustainable sales performance and regional market dominance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Sales Leadership : Develop and execute robust sales plans aligned with the companys growth objectives for the Jaipur territory.
- Business Development : Identify, qualify, and convert high-value business opportunities through consistent market engagement and client interactions.
- Client Relationship Management : Build and nurture strong professional relationships with architects, builders, contractors, interior designers, and institutional buyers.
- Market Intelligence : Analyze regional market trends, competitor movements, and customer insights to inform sales strategy and positioning.
- Revenue Ownership : Drive sales targets, ensure consistent pipeline growth, and achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Collaboration : Work closely with design, production, and marketing teams to deliver end-to-end project support and enhance client satisfaction.
- Brand Representation : Act as the face of KALCO in the region, representing the brand at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry forums.
- Reporting : Provide accurate and timely reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and key business metrics to the management team.
Candidate Profile :
Experience : 3-6 years of proven success in B2B sales, channel management, or business development within the building materials, architectural products, or construction industry.Education : Graduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA / PGDBM preferred.Industry Expertise : Deep understanding of the architectural ecosystem, with an existing network of architects, builders, and consultants Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation capabilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a performance-driven mindset.Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and deliver measurable outcomes.High degree of self-motivation, integrity, and professionalism.Location Knowledge : Familiarity with the Jaipur market and surrounding territories will be a distinct advantage.(ref : iimjobs.com)
