Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information

Systems, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Experience :
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server Analysis Services

    • (SSAS) / Azure Analysis Services (AAS).

  • 3+ years of advanced Power BI development experience (including DAX, M

    • query, and data modeling)

  • Demonstrated success in architecting, deploying, and optimizing large-scale

    • tabular models

  • Experience with Tableau is a plus
  • Technical Skills :
  • Tabular model design, partitioning, aggregations, security, and performance

    • tuning in Azure Analysis Services

  • Power BI data modeling, DAX, and M Query
  • Report and dashboard design and implementation
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Experience creating data pipelines to feed data to Azure Analysis Services

    • and Power BI

  • Strong understanding of both Azure Analysis Services and Power BI

    • architecture and data modeling best practices

  • Real-world experience tuning Azure Analysis Services models for

    • performance

  • Experience enabling AAS and Power BI role-based security
  • Knowledge of CI / CD practices for BI solutions (Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with data governance principles, data quality monitoring, and

    • security protocols

  • Soft Skills :
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work

    • effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high data quality and reliability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced

    • environment

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications : Azure Analysis Services and / or Power BI certification
  • Additional Skills : Experience in CI / CD practices for deploying Azure Analysis

    • Services and Power BI models and changes

    Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize Azure Analysis Services and Power BI solutions for

    • enterprise-scale reporting and analytics

  • Architect and maintain tabular models with a focus on performance, scalability,

    • and security

  • Define and enforce data governance, security, and role-based access control within

    • Analysis Services and Power BI

  • Optimize DAX queries, aggregations, and partitioning strategies to improve

    • performance

  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for Power BI report and dashboard

    • development

  • Lead modernization efforts to migrate reporting platforms from on-premises SSAS

    • to Azure Analysis Services and Power BI

  • Support adoption of self-service BI
  • Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in AAS and Power BI to

    • enhance platform capabilities
