Role Overview
We are seeking a driven Quantum Solutions Sales Manager (Optimization) to contribute to revenue growth by selling QpiAI-Logistics, our quantum-inspired AI solution developed for complex optimization challenges in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, and operational settings. This quota-carrying role requires a track record of success in managing complex, technical sales cycles within operations-heavy industries. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities with logistics companies, manufacturers, retailers, and service providers, establishing relationships with senior stakeholders and operations leaders, and closing deals that yield tangible efficiency improvements and cost savings through quantum-enabled optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume accountability for achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas for QpiAI-Logistics solution sales.
- Identify, prospect, and close business opportunities globally across logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, retail, and transportation sectors.
- Engage key decision-makers, including Chief Operations Officers, VPs of Supply Chain, Heads of Logistics, and manufacturing leaders.
- Develop and present compelling business cases that demonstrate return on investment through applications such as route optimization, warehouse automation, production scheduling, and network design.
- Understand operational workflows including vehicle routing, inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and capacity planning.
- Quantify the business impact of solutions in terms of cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and service level enhancement.
- Collaborate with optimization experts and data scientists to provide technical demonstrations and pilot solutions.
- Oversee complex sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders within operations, IT, finance, and procurement teams.
- Maintain precise sales forecasting and pipeline management in CRM systems.
- Represent QpiAI at logistics and supply chain industry conferences, forums, and customer engagements worldwide.
- Gather and share market intelligence on trends, competitive offerings, and customer challenges within the industry.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Operations, Computer Science, Mechanical, or a related technical field).5–7 years of proven experience in selling AI / ML or optimization solutions to logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing companies.Consistent success in quota-carrying sales roles within operations-intensive sectors.International sales experience across multiple regions (North America, Europe, APAC, or Middle East).Comprehensive understanding of supply chain operations, logistics networks, and manufacturing processes.Experience selling to operations and supply chain organizations, with insight into their priorities and key performance indicators (KPIs).Exceptional consultative selling skills, with the ability to quantify business impact and ROI.Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.Willingness to travel extensively (30–40%).Preferred Qualifications
MBA from a reputed institution.Educational background in operations research, industrial engineering, or supply chain management.Expertise in quantum computing applications for optimization and operations research.Experience with AI / ML applications in logistics, such as route optimization, demand forecasting, and predictive maintenance.Demonstrated ability to sell to Fortune 500 manufacturers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), retailers, or e-commerce companies.Familiarity with operations research methods, linear programming, and combinatorial optimization.Experience managing sales cycles with annual contract values above $500,000 in logistics or manufacturing sectors.Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and ERP platforms.What We Offer
