We are hiring a
Technical Project Manager
with strong expertise in
Oracle Database Management and RTB (Run-the-Bank)
Processes for our strategic engagement with an Investment Banking Client, based in Pune / Bangalore (Hybrid Mode).
This is a senior leadership role requiring 15+ years of experience in managing database operations, vulnerabilities, upgrades, and stakeholder alignment across on-premise and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the on-premise Oracle database support team, overseeing RTB processes including VUL (Vulnerability Patching), VITs (Validation / Integration Testing), and Upgrades.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into actionable tasks, and align them with delivery goals.
Partner with the cloud team to evaluate and decide which requirements should be executed on-premise vs. cloud.
Drive the implementation of database patches, upgrades, and security fixes, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
Monitor database performance and availability, addressing issues proactively and driving continuous improvement.
Ensure timely delivery of upgrades, compliance checks, and incident resolutions.
Establish and enforce processes, playbooks, and reporting structures for RTB operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DBAs, Infra, Cloud, Security) to ensure smooth execution of database enhancements.
Provide status updates, RCA documentation, and executive reports to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience :
15+ years of IT experience with strong database management and project delivery background.
Proven experience in Oracle database administration, upgrades, patching, and performance management.
Hands-on exposure to RTB processes (VUL, VITs, upgrades, compliance checks).
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with senior leadership and global teams.
Experience coordinating between on-prem and cloud environments (AWS / Azure / OCI).
Excellent team management and leadership skills, with experience managing large DBA / infra teams.
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to drive end-to-end delivery under strict SLAs.
Preferred Background :
Prior experience in Banking / Financial Services domain.
Knowledge of cloud migration strategies for Oracle workloads.
Exposure to compliance and regulatory requirements in financial services.
Strong reporting and governance skills for senior stakeholder communication.
