Audit Associate – Canadian NGO / NPO Audits (Remote)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented audit professional with hands-on experience in

audit execution, working papers, testing, and financial reporting

— ideally for international clients or charitable organisations.

Experience :

1–2 years in Audit / Assurance

Shift :

4 : 00 PM – 1 : 00 AM IST (Canada aligned)

Domain :

Canadian NGO / NPO audits

Key Responsibilities

✅ Execute audit procedures including substantive & controls testing

✅ Prepare

working papers , lead schedules, and audit documentation

✅ Perform

analytical review procedures

and variance analysis

✅ Assist in preparing

financial statements

✅ Support compliance & reporting requirements for Canadian NPOs

✅ Communicate with client teams and managers to resolve queries promptly

Specific Skills & Exposure Required

Experience in audit & assurance engagements

Strong command over documentation tools (Excel / Word preferred)

Understanding of

• Ind-AS / AS ;

Knowledge of internal control evaluation & audit sampling techniques

Ability to draft clear audit notes & client queries

Excellent communication & professional email etiquette

Qualification

CA / CA Inter / CA / MBA Finance / CPA pursuing or equivalent
