Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Relationship Manager to be the face of our growing EdTech company. This role, ideal for candidates with 2 to 6 years of experience, is a critical blend of field sales, educational outreach, and strategic relationship-building. The Manager will autonomously drive sales and brand presence by pitching and deploying our innovative learning products (books, Olympiads, flashcards, etc.) to schools, bookstores, and educational distributors within a dedicated territory.
Key Responsibilities
Sales, Target Achievement, and Autonomy
- Aggressively achieve assigned sales targets and manage overall area sales with high autonomy.
- Represent the brand and conduct high-impact sales pitches of educational tools (books, Olympiads, flashcards, etc.) to key decision-makers in schools and book distributors.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and initial contact to closing deals and managing ongoing account relationships.
Relationship Building and Outreach
Build lasting, professional relationships with institutional clients (schools) and channel partners (distributors / bookstores) in the assigned territory.Conduct in-depth product demos, training sessions, and regular school visits to showcase the value proposition of our learning products.Actively participate in educational events, expos, and school fairs to significantly boost brand awareness and generate sales leads.Market Insight and Execution
Conduct essential market research within the territory, gathering and providing valuable insights on competitive landscape, pricing, and product needs to the central team.Maintain basic operational records and reports using MS Office and leverage strong knowledge of the local geography for efficient travel 2 to 6 Years of relevant experience in field sales, business development, or educational sales.Communication (Mandatory) : Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and / or relevant regional languages.
Personal Attributes (Mandatory) : Must be street-smart, self-driven, and possess a confident personality with a high degree of hustle.
Education : MBA Preferred.
Preferred Skills
