The HR - Site role is a critical position within the construction industry, responsible for supporting human resources operations directly on active job sites. This role ensures seamless personnel management, compliance with labor regulations, and efficient workforce coordination in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records for all site personnel using digital or manual systems.
- Conduct initial screening and coordination of job applicants through on-site interviews.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new field staff, including verifying documentation and orientation.
- Monitor and report on workforce availability, absenteeism, and overtime trends to support project planning.
- Serve as a point of contact for site employees regarding HR-related inquiries, grievances, and policy clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company HR policies on-site.
- Collaborate with the central HR team to update employee records, manage contracts, and support payroll processing.
- Support safety and training initiatives by tracking attendance for mandatory site inductions and certifications.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee data and personal information.
- Assist in resolving interpersonal conflicts or performance issues at the site level with guidance from HR leadership.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in human resources, preferably within the construction or industrial sector.Proven experience in attendance tracking, payroll support, and employee records management.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.Experience conducting interviews and assessing candidate suitability for field-based roles.Proficiency in using HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital attendance tools.Familiarity with labor laws, OSHA standards, and construction site safety protocols.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, on-site environment.Valid identification and documentation as required by site access policies.Willingness to work on construction sites, including exposure to outdoor and physically demanding conditions.Requirements
Manage the day-to-day operations at the construction site, ensuring project timelines, quality, and safety standards are strictly adhered to. Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules to plan construction activities efficiently. Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project progress, resource utilization, and budget compliance, taking corrective actions as needed. Lead site meetings and provide regular progress reports to management and clients. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards, and safety norms on-site. Identify and resolve potential issues proactively to avoid project delays or cost overruns. Supervise material procurement and inventory management at the site. Mentor and guide project engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
