We are seeking an experienced IT Offshore Sales & Marketing Manager to lead and drive our offshore sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proven leadership in managing business development teams, and a strategic mindset to achieve business growth and sales targets in the IT sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the business development team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication with upper management.
- Define team targets, monitor progress, and ensure achievement of individual and team sales goals.
- Actively participate in the design and execution of sales strategies and forecasting to drive revenue growth.
- Manage and mentor a team of over 10 members, providing training and support to develop their skills.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing offshore clients, focusing on repeat business and client retention.
- Manage international leads and coordinate activities across different time zones with flexibility.
- Oversee multi-tasking efforts within the team, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of sales objectives.
- Provide regular reports and feedback to senior management regarding team performance, market insights, and business development progress.
- Demonstrate the ability to work proactively with minimal supervision, adapting to uncertainties and challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in IT offshore sales and marketing.Proven experience managing business development teams, including evaluating team performance and establishing clear reporting structures.Strong communication skills and fluency in IT terminology and concepts.Experience in defining and achieving team sales targets.Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sales strategies and forecasting.Experience managing a team of 10 or more members.Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.Ability to manage international leads and work flexible hours as needed.Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of thriving with minimal guidance.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Strong focus on building long-term client relationships and driving repeat business.Target-driven with a history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.(ref : iimjobs.com)
