This is a high-impact role where you’ll identify and engage with acquisition targets, build long-term relationships across the tech and finance ecosystem, and help shape the future of vertical market software in India.
What You’ll Do
Business Development & Relationship Management
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of acquisition targets using Salesforce.
- Initiate contact through calls, emails, LinkedIn, trade shows, and in-person meetings.
- Communicate CSI’s value proposition across diverse formats.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to foster meaningful conversations.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with prospects year-round.
- Facilitate early-stage M&A documentation and engagement.
Research & Market Intelligence
Conduct deep-dive research into industries, companies, and leadership teams.Expand target lists using LinkedIn, industry databases, and online tools.Stay ahead of market trends and competitive landscapes.Draft company profiles and support strategic analysis for expansion efforts.What We’re Looking For
5+ years in business development, sales, or client-facing M&A roles (preferably outbound).Strong network in India’s VC / Tech ecosystem is a plus.Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools.Self-starter with a relentless drive, intellectual curiosity, and a thesis-driven mindset.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
