Job descriptionDesign, develop, and modify MOCA (McHugh Open Concept Architecture) commands and scripts to customize WMS functionality. Develop and maintain integrations between WMS and other systems (ERP, TMS, automation) using Integrator or other interfacing tools. Create and modify reports, labels (NiceLabels / Jasper), and screens (DDA / Page Builder). Utilize SQL / PL-SQL for data analysis, queries, and complex troubleshooting. Diagnose and resolve complex production issues related to WMS functionality and custom MOCA code. Perform system testing, including unit, integration, and performance testing. Maintain technical and functional documentation for all changes and configurations. Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder (JDA / RedPrairie) WMS implementations or support projects. Strong proficiency in MOCA scripting and WMS technical development. Solid functional understanding of core Warehouse Operations and Supply Chain processes. Experience with SQL (Oracle or MS-SQL Server) for database queries and troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical teams and business users.
Summary :
The Techno-Functional Consultant will be responsible for the configuration, development, and support of the Blue Yonder (formerly JDA / RedPrairie) Warehouse Management System (WMS).
This role requires a blend of functional expertise in warehouse operations and strong technical skills in MOCA programming to deliver effective supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Functional Expertise :
- Gather and analyze business requirements from warehouse operations teams (e.g., Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Shipping).
- Configure the Blue Yonder WMS application to meet functional business needs (e.g., location definitions, labor standards, wave management).
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide post-go-live support.
