Description : Role Summary :
The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, administrators, and other developers to deliver scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain custom applications, triggers, workflows, and Visualforce pages on the Salesforce platform.
- Build and optimize Apex classes, controllers, and batch jobs to meet business requirements.
- Design and implement Lightning Components and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Customize Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, and approval processes.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST / SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Ensure proper data migration, data cleansing, and data integrity across Salesforce environments.
- Implement bulk processing solutions using Apex Batch, Queueable, and Future methods.
- Write unit tests and ensure code coverage meets Salesforce best practices.
- Collaborate with QA and business teams to perform functional and regression testing.
- Participate in release management and deployment using Salesforce Change Sets, ANT, or CI / CD tools.
- Document technical designs, architecture diagrams, and development standards.
- Work closely with Salesforce Administrators, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to gather requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Technical Skills :
Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and LWC.Experience with SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce data modeling.Knowledge of Salesforce declarative features like Process Builder, Flows, and Workflow Rules.Hands-on experience with Salesforce integration (REST / SOAP API, middleware).Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket) and CI / CD pipelines(ref : hirist.tech)
