Networking Palo alto Firewall

Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer with specialized expertise in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting robust network security solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Firewall Management & Configuration : Design, configure, implement, and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including policy management, Network Address Translation (NAT), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs - IPsec / SSL), and security profiles (e.g., IPS, Anti-Virus, WildFire, URL Filtering, Threat Prevention).
• Network Security Implementation : Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices to protect organizational data and infrastructure from cyber threats.
• Troubleshooting & Resolution : Perform advanced analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of complex network and security issues related to Palo Alto Firewalls, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
• Monitoring & Incident Response : Continuously monitor firewall logs and security alerts, responding promptly to security incidents and potential breaches.
• Maintenance & Optimization : Conduct routine maintenance, firmware upgrades, and health checks of firewall infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and stability. Identify and implement optimizations for security policies and network traffic flow.
• Documentation & Compliance : Develop and maintain comprehensive network security documentation, including network diagrams, security policies, and standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
• Security Audits : Participate in internal and external security audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations related to firewall configurations and security posture.
• Collaboration : Work closely with IT operations, application teams, and other stakeholders to understand network security requirements and provide effective solutions.
