Implementation Engineer - OMS / WMS

Location : Remote (India)

Role Overview :

We're seeking a self-driven Implementation Engineer to join our growing India team. You'll be the bridge between our technology and our enterprise clients, ensuring seamless onboarding and driving rapid time-to-value. This role requires someone who can independently manage complex implementations, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and solve problems on the fly.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management & Client Ownership (40%)

  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects for enterprise clients with minimal supervision
  • Create and maintain implementation project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and manage expectations across client and internal teams
  • Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies

Technical Implementation (30%)

  • Configure Omniful's suite of products (OMS, WMS, TMS, POS) based on client requirements
  • Handle data migrations from existing ERP / WMS systems
  • Support API integrations with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento), ERPs, and shipping partners
  • Conduct UAT sessions and ensure all workflows meet client specifications
  • Document technical configurations and create handover documentation

    • Stakeholder Management & Communication (20%)

  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned enterprise accounts during implementation
  • Coordinate between client IT teams, operations teams, and management
  • Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical configurations
  • Present progress updates to C-level executives and key decision makers
  • Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution

    • Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement (10%)

  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues independently
  • Identify patterns in implementation challenges and propose process improvements
  • Contribute to implementation playbooks and best practices documentation
  • Support pre-sales teams with technical feasibility assessments

    • Required Qualifications :

    Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in B2B SaaS implementation, preferably in ERP or supply chain solutions
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise client implementations

    • Technical Skills :

  • Understanding of REST APIs and system integrations
  • Experience with data migration and transformation
  • Familiarity with SQL and basic scripting
  • Knowledge of supply chain operations (warehousing, logistics, inventory management) is highly preferred

    • Core Competencies :

  • Self-Starter : Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and take complete ownership
  • Project Management : Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
  • Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure
  • Stakeholder Management : Experience managing enterprise clients and coordinating with C-level executives

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with ERP implementation (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Background in supply chain / logistics SaaS platforms
  • Exposure to Middle East market or experience working with international clients
  • Experience with warehouse management systems or e-commerce platforms
  • PMP or similar project management certification
