What you will do

1. Customer Portfolio management

  • Planning and achieving sales targets for assigned customers.
  • Regular Customer visits and follow ups ensuring optimum active selling time
  • Acknowledging, Lodging and monitoring timely closure of customer complaints.
  • Periodic Sales review and devising action for deviations.
  • Gathering and reporting all market / competitor information.
  • Coordinating internally and externally to ensure continuous availability of materials at customers end.
  • Introduction of new products and providing application training to end users.

2. New Business Development

  • Visiting potentials and promote existing or new products and applications.
  • Visiting existing customers and promote new products.
  • Involve in all possible activities to train and educate end users about products and application.
  • Test market new products.
  • Conduct product trials at user’s premises.
  • Work towards spec-in wherever possible.
  • Generating a strong project pipeline for additional sales.
  • Project Review with MM as per schedule.
  • 3. AR Management

  • AR Reviews with customers.
  • Follow up for collections of payments
  • Collections of C Forms & Other relevant documents as required.
  • Co-ordinate with the Customer Service Department and Finance Department towards this end.
  • MAJOR CHALLENGES

  • Competitive pricing. (Qualitative selling, realign product assortments)
  • Short comings in Delivery commitments. (forewarn customers, work on options, expedite internal processes)
  • Meeting demand surges. (Better market intelligence, Better forecasting, Better follow ups till delivery)
  • Information gathering (collect information from available resources)
  • Cold Calling (Proper planning and preparation)
  • KEY DECISIONS / DIMENSIONS

  • Plan and execute the travel plan.
  • Price offer as per pricing policy of the Company
  • What you will need

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.E / B Tech- Printing Technologist, Chemical Engineering / Polymer Science
  • MBA in Sales & Marketing will be added advantage.
  • RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 3 to 6 years of industrial sales experience. Techno-commercial profile (Sales Experience with Technical support & Business Development experience would helpful).
  • Preferred industry

  • Working with Printing (Flexo, gravure & offset printing) Industry suppliers from Label feedstock, Flexo Inks, labels, Dr blade, Photo-polymer plates, anilox & tape supplier, sleeves and cylinder industry.
  • Working with flexo labels manufacturing company-like Huhtamaki, flexo film printing like -Uflex or Amcor, plate making like -Afflatus, creative graphics etc.
  • Key Account Management & Distributor Management.
