About the Role
We are looking for a Mobius View Developer with strong experience in policy creation and content governance to help define and implement enterprise document and retention strategies. This role focuses on configuring, maintaining, and enforcing document management policies within IBM Mobius View and related ECM systems — ensuring compliance, security, and accessibility across the organization. You will collaborate with business units, compliance officers, and IT to translate governance requirements into robust Mobius policies that manage content lifecycles efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain document retention and access policies within IBM Mobius View.
- Configure policy-driven document workflows, storage hierarchies, and retention schedules.
- Define classification schemes, metadata standards, and indexing strategies to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Work with compliance and legal teams to align content policies with internal and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
- Develop procedures for policy versioning, audit logging, and change management.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure consistent enforcement of retention and access policies.
- Provide technical documentation and training for policy configuration and lifecycle management.
- Monitor system usage and recommend improvements for content governance efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Mobius View or ASG Mobius Content Services.Proven experience configuring document retention, archival, and access control policies.Understanding of ECM architecture, metadata, and indexing models.Familiarity with information governance frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Preferred Skills
Experience integrating Mobius with Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) or other ECM systems.Knowledge of policy automation, workflow design, or document lifecycle scripting.Background in records management, data privacy, or compliance operations.Familiarity with Active Directory / LDAP for security and access configuration.Exposure to cloud-based ECM deployments or hybrid environments.
