Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Associate Software Engineer at Mindlabs located in Hyderabad. As a Associate Software Engineer, your key responsibilites include,

Develop and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using Node.js and React frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features and functionalities, ensuring seamless integrations.
Create and manage databases using DynamoDb and Redis, optimizing data models for efficiency and performance.
Deploy applications and services on AWS, monitoring and troubleshooting as needed.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other issues to maintain a reliable and secure system.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, bringing in new ideas and technologies to improve development processes.
Investigate and debug production issues reported by users or identified through monitoring tools.
Analyze logs, metrics, and system behavior to identify the root cause of issues affecting application performance or functionality.
Implement and deploy immediate fixes or workarounds to mitigate critical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to users.

Skillset and Experience Requirements :

Solid expertise in Data structures and Algorithms

Solid expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript

Strong proficiency in Node.JS and NoSQL databases

Strong proficiency in React JS and / or React Native.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Familiarity with cloud services like AWS (EC2, ECS, Cognio, SNS).

Experience with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently without supervision and adapt / learn new technologies quickly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
