We are looking for a reliable and detail-driven Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and day-to-day accounting tasks. This role is crucial for maintaining accuracy in our financial records and supporting informed strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with external accountants or auditors when needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Wave)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and time management
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce or the digital media industry
• Familiarity with international payments and currencies
• Basic understanding of tax reporting and payroll processes
