About the Job :

Capgemini is seeking experienced Selenium Automation Engineers to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As a Selenium Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software applications through robust and efficient test automation. You will collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Automation Framework Design and Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java / Python / C#.

Test Script Development : Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing based on user stories and requirements.

API Testing : Integrate API testing using tools like Rest Assured, Postman, or similar into the automation framework.

Test Case Development : Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases and test data.

Defect Management : Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools.

Collaboration : Collaborate with development teams and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure testability of applications.

CI / CD Integration : Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) pipeline.

Performance Analysis : Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

Mentorship : Mentor junior automation engineers and share best practices.

Staying Current : Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in test automation.

Technical Skills Required :

Proficient in Selenium WebDriver : Extensive experience in designing and developing automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.

Programming Proficiency : Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or other relevant languages.

API Testing : Experience with API testing using tools like Rest Assured, Postman, or similar.

TestNG / JUnit : Experience with test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.

Version Control : Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

CI / CD Tools : Experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Test Case Management : Experience with test case management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or of SDLC and STLC : Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and

Software Testing Life Cycle to 10 years of experience in test automation using Selenium WebDriver.
