Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled EDI consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with IBM Sterling, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and Order Management Systems (OMS). You will be responsible for ensuring smooth data exchange between systems and partners, streamlining order processes, and supporting business operations through effective EDI solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot EDI solutions using IBM Sterling to support seamless electronic data interchange with business partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EDI with Order Management Systems (OMS), ensuring efficient order processing, inventory management, and fulfillment.
• Manage and support EDI mapping, translation, and communication processes with trading partners.
• Must be able to write a code on sterling integrator on Java or java experience
• Must have experience on Lightwell and Axway.
• Work with customers and external partners to onboard, test, and maintain EDI connections.
• Monitor and resolve EDI-related issues, including transmission errors, mapping discrepancies, and communication failures.
• Conduct root cause analysis of EDI failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and company-specific EDI requirements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including EDI mapping specifications, system configurations, and workflows.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support system upgrades, patches, and integration efforts as needed.
