Matsya is a small, but extremely talented team with a very flat organisation structure.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Execution Trader with a strong background in MIS and reporting. The candidate will be responsible for executing trades efficiently, monitoring order performance, maintaining trading records, and providing daily MIS and analytical reports to support decision-making. Key Responsibilities : Trading & Execution : - Execute equity, derivatives, and commodity trades as per portfolio manager instructions.

• Ensure timely, accurate order execution and confirmation across exchanges.
• Monitor intraday positions, limits, and exposures.
• Track trade confirmations, margin requirements, and exposures.
• Coordinate with brokers, dealers, and back-office teams for smooth settlements. MIS & Reporting : - Prepare and maintain daily trade and position MIS reports.
• Track P&L, exposure, margin utilization, and trading costs.
• Track, analyse and maintain fund performance, fund statistics, portfolio analytics etc.
• Regularly update investor relations and communication materials such as pitch decks and spreadsheets.
• Send out weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to investors as required - Use Bloomberg and other sources to perform ad-hoc analysis as and when required - Automate repetitive reporting tasks using Excel / Google Sheets / Power BI / SQL (if applicable).
• Develop dashboards to analyse trading performance and market trends. Analytics & Support : - Assist in trade performance review and post-trade analytics.
• Provide actionable insights through data-driven analysis.
• Maintain data accuracy and ensure timely updates for decision support.
• Collaborate with the research and operations teams for smooth trade settlement and reporting. Skills & Qualifications : - Graduate in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or MIS / Data Analytics from Tier 1 college.
• Strong knowledge of Excel (advanced formulas, pivots, macros);

familiarity with PowerBI / Tableau / SQL is a plus.
