Snowflake Admin - Full Time

Role : Snowflake Administrator

Location : Remote

Type : Contract

Responsibilities :

Manage and optimize Snowflake environments for secure and efficient operations.

Handle RBAC, user access, OAuth integrations, and MFA enforcement.

Oversee Snowflake resources : warehouses, roles, users, grants, and scaling.

Improve performance through clustering, search optimization, and query tuning.

Implement row / column-level data masking and adhere to data governance standards.

Maintain CI / CD pipelines for Snowflake using GitHub and automation tools.

Monitor system health with metrics, alerts, and dashboards.

Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to deliver solutions.

Required Skills :

Strong Snowflake expertise (warehouses, grants, optimization, security).

Python proficiency with Snowflake Connector for automation.

Solid understanding of CI / CD and GitHub workflows.

Knowledge of data masking and advanced security (OAuth, MFA).

Experience with monitoring / observability tools.

Good grasp of data governance and compliance.

Strong communication skills; Snowflake certification preferred.
