Hydrographic Surveyor

Rock & Reef Dredging specializes in various types of dredging projects across India, with a growing fleet of dredgers and in-house technical expertise. We are expanding our survey capabilities and looking for a dedicated Hydrographic Surveyor to support internal surveys for our ongoing and upcoming dredging projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct single-beam hydrographic surveys to monitor dredging progress and verify depth data.
• Perform pre-dredge and post-dredge surveys to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Process and validate raw survey data using appropriate software (e.g. Hypack, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Maintain survey equipment, including single-beam echo sounders, DGPS units, and related peripherals.
• Prepare accurate survey charts, reports, and volume calculations for internal project teams.
• Work closely with the project engineers, dredge operators, and site managers to support operations.
• Ensure data quality, calibration accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols on-site.
