Job descriptionApply encryption at rest and in transit for sensitive CBDC data. Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and audit logging. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and central bank security standards. Monitor database health, performance metrics, and capacity planning. Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, replication, and latency. Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Percona Monitoring for observability. Develop scripts for automated backups, maintenance tasks, and deployments. Utilize Ansible, Bash, or Python for database automation. Work closely with application teams to design efficient schemas and queries. Support CBDC transaction systems and blockchain integration with databases. Strong experience in MariaDB administration (installation, tuning, replication). Hands-on experience with KeyDB or similar Redis-compatible key-value stores. Knowledge of SQL optimization, stored procedures, and database security. Familiarity with containerized environments (Kubernetes / OpenShift) and database deployments. Understanding of CBDC architecture, distributed systems, and secure environments. Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python).

Role & Responsibilities :
Database Administration :
- Install, configure, and maintain MariaDB and KeyDB instances in production and non-production environments.
- Perform database upgrades, patching, and migration activities.
- Manage replication, clustering, and failover for high availability.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and caching.
