Job Description – SAP S / 4HANA ABAP Developer (NextGen / Clean Core)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S / 4HANA ABAP Developer with proven, hands-on expertise in modern “NextGen” development frameworks. This role is strictly for developers who have real S / 4HANA project experience , aligned with Clean Core , cloud-ready extensibility, and RAP-based application development.

Candidates with ECC-heavy or outdated experience will not be shortlisted.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) .
• Build and enhance CDS Views (basic, interface, consumption) and OData services .
• Implement Key User and Developer Extensibility aligned to SAP’s Clean Core principles.
• Work with released S / 4HANA APIs for integration and extension.
• Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot S / 4HANA applications using SAP BAS (Business Application Studio) .
• Perform Fiori Adaptation Projects (mandatory requirement).
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to SAP’s Clean Core guidelines and modern development standards.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous improvement activities.
