Lead Business Analyst

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in analytical tools and techniques, excel at breaking down complex problems, and have the ability to drive data-backed decisions. This role demands effective communication with stakeholders & strategic alignment of data initiatives with business goals

What you will do

Technical Proficiency :

Utilize SQL, Python / R, Excel for data analysis and insights extraction.

Apply mathematical, statistical, or predictive modeling techniques to analyze data and support decision-making.

Develop and implement relevant visualizations to drive insights based on the context.

Problem-Solving :

Break down complex problems, identify root causes, formulate hypotheses, and draw comprehensive conclusions.

Approach problem-solving in a structured manner, evaluating second-order impacts and addressing challenges / risks.

Stakeholder Management :

Effectively communicate insights and drive data-backed decisions with stakeholders and leadership.

Define and align key metric definitions with stakeholders.

Manage multiple work streams and coordinate interdependencies.

Must have skills

Total of 5 to 7 years of experience

Proven experience in a lead business analyst role or similar capacity.

Strong proficiency in SQL, Python / R, Excel, and Metabase.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a structured approach.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong alignment with business goals and strategic vision.

Innovative mindset with a willingness to take calculated risks.
