Description : We are seeking an experienced API Management Engineer to design, implement, and operate our Enterprise AI API platform. You will collaborate with architecture, development, security and Dev Ops teams to build a scalable, secure, and robust API-ecosystem using IBM’s API management technologies. You will own the entire API lifecycle — from design through deployment, monitoring, governance, and retirement

1. Design and build APIs using IBM API Connect, Data Power gateways, or equivalent API management platform

2. Define API governance policies : authentication / authorization (OAuth2, API-key, JWT), rate limits, quotas, versioning, and lifecycle management

3. Manage the API gateway : routing, transformation, orchestration, protocol mediation (REST, SOAP, Graph QL), and traffic control

4. Set up and maintain the developer portal : publishing APIs, onboarding internal / external consumers, documentation, self-service subscription

4. Monitor API usage, performance, latency, error metrics; analyze usage patterns and production issues

6. Handle API security and resilience : secure back-end integrations, payload validation, threat mitigation, high-availability

7. Good knowledge AWS cloud like API Gateway, S3, EKS

8. Stay up to date with API management best practices, emerging protocols (Graph QL, Web Sockets), and evolving IBM tool capabilities
