About the Role

Adwants is looking for a seasoned Art Director with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in a creative agency environment. The ideal candidate has worked across diverse projects including offline advertising, digital campaigns, paid performance creatives, branding, UI / UX, and social media design. Experience working with education, hospitality, FMCG, and tech brands is essential.

This role demands strong conceptual thinking, design leadership, and the ability to guide a team of designers toward delivering high-quality creative output aligned with brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead visual direction and design development for integrated campaigns across print, digital, and paid media.

Develop and refine brand identities, style guides, and complete visual systems.

Oversee UI / UX designs for web and mobile experiences, ensuring intuitive and on-brand interfaces.

Drive creative strategies for social media content, ensuring relevance, consistency, and impact.

Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, digital teams, and account managers to deliver cohesive campaigns.

Mentor, upskill, and manage a team of junior and mid-level designers; conduct regular reviews to elevate quality.

Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining attention to detail and creative excellence.

Present concepts and design rationale to internal teams and clients with clarity and confidence.

Stay updated on design trends, tools, and industry best practices to bring fresh ideas to the table.

Required Skills & Experience

8–10 years of experience in a creative or advertising agency.

Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in offline campaigns, digital and paid creatives, branding, and UI / UX.

Proven experience working with education, hospitality, FMCG, and tech brands.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and motion basics (added advantage).

Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and storytelling through design.

Excellent team leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver within tight timelines.
