Job description4+ years of strong experience in Shopify theme development using Liquid and Shopify CLI. Proficient in custom Shopify app development using React, Node.js, or Laravel. Deep understanding of Shopify REST & GraphQL APIs, Storefront API, and Admin API. Experience building and managing API-driven integrations for ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and fulfillment systems. Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus, Shopify Functions, and Headless Commerce setups. Experience with Shopify Hydrogen (React-based framework) is a strong plus. Familiarity with performance tuning, SEO, and accessibility standards for Shopify storefronts. Experience using AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot / Cursor for code generation, validation, and optimization. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and code quality tools (e.g., PHPStan, PHPUnit, ESLint). Proactive in leveraging automation and AI to improve development speed, maintainability, and reliability. Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across UI / UX, QA, Product, and client-facing teams. Skilled in mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and upholding technical excellence. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization mindset. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 7+ years of professional experience in ecommerce development, with 4+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify. Proven expertise in Shopify theme and app development, including Liquid, Shopify CLI, and custom storefronts. Strong proficiency in React, Laravel, PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with Shopify Plus, Shopify Functions, and Headless Commerce implementations. Solid understanding of REST / GraphQL APIs, ERP / CRM integrations, and microservices architecture. Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, Git, and modern development workflows. Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and automated testing frameworks. Demonstrated ability to mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and uphold technical standards. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.
