Job descriptionKey Responsibilities : Device Driver Development : Develop, test, and maintain device drivers for a variety of embedded hardware components (e.g., sensors, actuators, peripherals). Linux Kernel Integration : Integrate device drivers into the Linux kernel, ensuring compatibility and stability. Debugging and Troubleshooting : Utilize debugging tools like Lauterbach and Trace tools to identify and resolve issues related to device drivers. Performance Optimization : Optimize device driver performance to meet system requirements and minimize latency. Documentation : Create clear and comprehensive documentation for device drivers, including technical specifications and usage guidelines. Collaboration : Work closely with hardware engineers, system architects, and software developers to ensure seamless integration of device drivers. Required Qualifications : Experience : 3-10 years of experience in embedded Linux device driver development. Embedded Programming : Strong understanding of embedded programming concepts and techniques. C Language : Proficiency in C language, including memory management, pointers, and data structures. Device Drivers : Experience in developing and debugging device drivers for various hardware components. Linux Kernel : Familiarity with Linux kernel internals and device driver architecture. Debugging Tools : Experience using debugging tools like Lauterbach and Trace tools. Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Preferred Qualifications : Open Source Contributions : Experience contributing to open-source Linux kernel projects. Specific Device Drivers : Experience with specific device drivers (e.g., USB, I2C, SPI, UART). Scripting Languages : Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and scripting tasks.
