Job Title : Inventory Lead

Key Responsibilities :
The Inventory Lead will be responsible for the strategic and tactical management of all inventory, including network equipment, customer premise equipment (CPE), spares, and materials. Key duties include :
- Inventory Strategy & Optimization : Develop and implement best-in-class inventory management strategies, policies, and procedures to achieve optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs and obsolescence.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting : Collaborate with engineering, network deployment, and sales teams to accurately forecast future material requirements based on project timelines, build plans, and expected growth in network subscribers.
- Warehouse Operations & Control : Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, and cycle counting, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy and control through robust processes and WMS utilization.
- Loss Prevention & Auditing : Implement rigorous security and auditing measures to prevent inventory loss, damage, and unauthorized movements. Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation.
- Logistics & Distribution : Manage inbound and outbound logistics for large-scale equipment movements, optimizing distribution channels to field service teams and network sites to meet aggressive SLAs.
- Technology Utilization : Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Inventory Management module within the ERP / WMS system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, custom systems), driving system improvements and training users.
- Vendor & Supplier Management : Work closely with procurement and strategic sourcing teams to manage vendor delivery schedules and ensure timely availability of materials.
- Compliance & Reporting : Ensure all inventory activities adhere to internal controls, regulatory standards, and financial reporting requirements. Generate detailed reports on stock turnover, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Required Qualifications & Experience :
Experience : Minimum of 8 years of progressive, hands-on experience in Inventory Management or Supply Chain roles, with a mandatory and significant focus on the Telecommunications (Telecom / ISP) sector.Industry Knowledge : Deep practical understanding of typical telecom inventory items, including :Network components (e.g., routers, switches, servers, antennas, fiber optic equipment).CPE and demarcation equipment.Field service kits and spare parts management.
