Job overview

As part of the Business Operations & Technology (BOT) team, the Senior Lead Developer will lead the design, development, and implementation of automation and AI-based solutions across the firm. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership skills to guide a team of developers, collaborate across business functions, and drive technological initiatives that enhance efficiency and innovation within Everest Group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, including workflows for Excel / PowerPoint automation, data extraction, reporting, and system integrations
• Design and deploy AI-driven solutions, such as custom GPTs, AI agents, and LLM-based tools, to enhance productivity and decision-making across teams
• Guide and mentor junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and high quality output
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements, design scalable solutions, and manage delivery timelines
• Integrate internal tools with third-party platforms (Salesforce, SharePoint, Zoho, ADP, OneDrive, etc.) using APIs or automation frameworks
• Identify process inefficiencies, propose improvements, and drive adoption of innovative technology solutions
• In collaboration with the IT team, ensure performance, security, and maintainability of deployed applications
