Database Administrator - IT Operations

Work Location : Gurugram

Responsibilities :

• Design, install, configure, and maintain database systems, including monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting issues.
• Ensure data security and integrity, including implementation of access controls, backups, and recovery plans.
• Execute disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure database availability during system outages or dysfunction.
• Perform daily operation to monitor both server and database logging to support business operation.
• Conduct regular slow query analysis and develop optimization plan.
• Oversee the daily operations of application servers and related infrastructure.
• Implement and manage monitoring tools to track server and application performance.
• Ensure all systems are running efficiently and effectively, with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with infrastructure team to assist with the setup of networking, server configuration, and security remediation.
• Research, evaluate and recommend new database technologies.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for data elements and tables in the company.
