Database Administrator

Location : Gurgaon (Onsite)

Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and data inconsistencies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and prevent recurring issues.
• Analyze and optimize database performance by fine-tuning queries, indexing, and configuration settings. Implement best practices to enhance system efficiency.
• Leverage your expertise in Microsoft Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings, including Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance. Migrate and manage databases on Azure for scalability and reliability.
• Administer, maintain, and monitor multiple database environments, ensuring data integrity, security, and high availability.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate database provisioning, deployments, and monitoring. Implement CI / CD pipelines for database changes.
• Implement and enforce security policies, access controls, and encryption mechanisms to protect sensitive data. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Work closely with developers, system administrators, and other IT professionals to support application development and infrastructure initiatives.
