As a leading outsourcing partners, we are hiring Data Analyst to work on a project for our client, which is the largest provider of telecoms and mobile money services in 14 countries spanning Sub-Saharan, Central, and Western Africa.

Hands-on experience supporting PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.

This role will be primarily focused on production database administration for PostgresSQL databases.

Responsibilities :

• Install, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL software, implement monitoring and alerting.
• Helps in implementing backup and recovery processes.
• Provides system and SQL performance tuning and assist in business process integration with various data sources.
• Provide best practice guidance to the development team with regard to database design and usage.
• Optimize database performance.
• Identify potential issues in the database to solve them early.
• Fulfils user requests ranging from access control, backup, restore, refresh to non-production to performance tuning.
• Provides online & on call coverage for production support.

Note : Kafka knowledge is a plus
