Clinical & Surgical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of urological and uro-oncology patients
- Perform advanced urological surgeries, including
- TURBT, TURP
- Nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy
- Radical prostatectomy
- Radical cystectomy
- Ureteric reconstruction, ureterorenoscopy
- Management of uro-oncology cases (kidney, bladder, prostate, testicular cancers).
- Manage minimally invasive / laparoscopic and endourological procedures
- Provide peri-operative care, post-operative follow-up, and long-term cancer surveillance
Patient Care & Counselling
Ensure high standards of patient safety, compassionate communication, and ethical medical practiceProvide patient and family counselling on diagnosis, treatment plan, prognosis, and follow-up careParticipate in Tumor Board discussions and multidisciplinary care planning.Clinical Governance & Documentation
Maintain accurate medical records as per hospital protocols (EMR)Ensure adherence to NABH standards, infection control, safety guidelines, and clinical audits.Participate in morbidity & mortality meetings, clinical review meetings, and quality improvement initiativesCollaborative & Administrative Responsibilities
Work closely with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Pathology, and Nursing teamsParticipate in OPD, IPD, emergency calls, and OT schedules as assignedContribute to hospital outreach programs, CMEs, awareness camps, and brand-building activitiesSupport protocol development, clinical pathways, and patient education materialsQualifications
Qualification : MBBS, MS / DNB (General Surgery) & MCh / DNB Urology from reputed institute.
Fellowship in Uro-Oncology preferred (national or international).
