SAP ABAP TM Developer

Recruit 121 is currently looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Transportation Management (TM) to join a long-term programme with potential rollout across Europe. This is a fully remote , full-time contract role with a minimum 12-month duration and strong chance of extension.

What You’ll Do

Lead ABAP development for SAP TM : enhancements, interfaces, reports & data migration

Collaborate with functional TM consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions

Develop ABAP objects : BADIs, user exits, SmartForms, custom reports, enhancements

Ensure seamless integration between SAP TM and SAP MM, SD, EWM + 3rd-party logistics systems

Optimise and performance-tune SAP TM processes

Troubleshoot and resolve TM-related ABAP issues

Participate in unit, integration and UAT testing

Work with global cross-functional teams

Mentor junior ABAP developers

What We’re Looking For

10+ years SAP ABAP TM development experience

Strong hands-on experience in SAP TM development

Knowledge of transportation logistics : planning, freight costing, execution, optimisation

Experience with integration across MM, SD, EWM and external systems

Good understanding of TM components (e.g., Transportation Planning, Freight Orders, Freight Settlement)

Excellent English communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a remote, multinational environment

Available to work in European time zones
