Key Responsibilities
- Supervision and Team Management :
- Direct and supervise a team of maintenance technicians by assigning tasks, providing guidance, monitoring performance, and promoting teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance :
- Plan and schedule routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure uninterrupted operations and minimize downtime.
- Preventive Maintenance :
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs aimed at reducing equipment failures. Create schedules, conduct inspections, and maintain maintenance documentation to improve equipment longevity.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs :
- Diagnose malfunctions, identify root causes, and coordinate timely repairs. Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to the team in resolving complex mechanical issues.
- Spare Parts and Inventory Management :
- Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and supplies. Monitor stock levels, coordinate procurement, and ensure cost-effective inventory management.
- Safety and Compliance :
- Enforce safety regulations, conduct regular inspections, and ensure the team adheres to health, safety, and compliance standards. Lead safety training initiatives to promote a culture of safety awareness.
