Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Telesales Executive to join our sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to generate qualified leads by reaching out to schools, colleges, training institutes, and educators. You’ll play a key role in initiating conversations, understanding customer needs, and scheduling product demos for our sales team.
Location : 4th Floor, Ali Center, 18, Greams Rd, above Bank of Maharashtra, Thousand Lights West, Thousand Lights, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600006
Employment Type : Full-time
Shift Timings : 10am to 7pm (Monday - Saturday )
Language Preference : Tamil, Hindi and English required
Experience Level : 0 yrs to 1yrs
Salary : 15K - 25K Per Month (Negotiable )

Requirements
Make outbound calls to potential clients in the education sector (cold and warm leads).
Clearly communicate the value proposition of our educational software tools.
Identify decision-makers and influencers within schools, colleges, and training centers.
Gather and document key customer information and feedback.
Schedule appointments or demos for the business development team.
Maintain and update the CRM with accurate records of conversations and follow-ups.
Meet daily, weekly, and monthly call and lead generation targets.
Handle basic objections and escalate complex queries to senior sales personnel.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness.
Requirements
Proven experience in telesales, inside sales, or a related role (preferably in EdTech or SaaS).
Excellent verbal communication skills in English [add regional language if required].
Ability to build rapport quickly and handle rejection professionally.
Familiarity with CRM systems and basic computer proficiency.
Goal-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
Education : Graduate in any discipline; background in education, marketing, or business is a plus.
Basic Technical Skills Required
Comfort with Computers
Able to use a computer confidently for daily tasks like emails, browsing, and data entry.
Basic Knowledge of Educational Software
Understands how software for schools / teachers / students generally works (e.g., online learning tools, dashboards).
CRM Tools (Customer Database)
Can use simple tools like Zoho CRM , Excel , or Google Sheets to manage leads and follow-ups.
Communication Tools
Comfortable using phone calling apps , Zoom , Google Meet , or WhatsApp Business for communication and setting up meetings.
Email & Messaging
Knows how to write professional emails using Gmail or Outlook .
Can respond to customer inquiries and send follow-up messages.
Data Entry
Accurately enter customer details, notes, and call outcomes into a system or spreadsheet.
Internet Research
