ROLE DESCRIPTION (POSITION SUMMARY)

The role holder is accountable for for assisting in the design, analysis, and optimization of high-voltage transmission towers. The role involves working closely with senior engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in structural engineering and an interest in power transmission infrastructure.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the structural design and analysis of transmission towers using industry-standard software and manual calculations.
• Perform load calculations, material selection, and stress analysis to optimize tower performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Preparation of sag-tension calculation, loading calculation, clearance diagram & loading tree as per client’s specification.
• Preparation of foundation designs for transmission line towers.
• Support in pre tendering engineering i.e., preliminary design and engineering, working out
• bill of quantities and other technical support to commercial team for bid preparation.
• Coordinate with site at time of project execution and commissioning.
