Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in automation roles, preferably in an international environment. Strong understanding of food / dairy processing equipment; experience in powder handling preferred. Proficient with PLCs (Siemens or Rockwell), SCADA systems (Aveva, Ignition), and Microsoft SQL Server (stored procedures, reporting). Experience with MES systems, virtualization, and industrial network integration. Working knowledge of ISA-S88 and S95 is an advantage. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Structured, independent work style with a results-oriented mindset. Demonstrated commitment to quality, improvement, and customer focus.

About the Role :
We are hiring an Automation Engineer to support automation design, programming, and commissioning for powder process and technology solutions. The role requires strong leadership, customer focus, and hands-on expertise in PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. This position involves significant international travel for commissioning and client support (up to 50%).
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop Functional Specifications for automation projects.
- Design hardware and software architecture for control systems.
- Program PLC / HMI / SCADA systems and prepare detailed specifications.
- Perform hardware configuration, panel testing, software setup, and system integration.
- Execute, test, and validate automation systems.
- Prepare operating manuals and documentation.
- Deliver automation training to customer teams.
- Conduct onsite testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning (international travel required).
