Principal Catastrophe Model Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic candidate to join our Catastrophe Modelling team. This role will be based in Mumbai This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office

Associate Director – Marsh Catastrophe Risk Services

We will count on you to :

• Ensure smooth, timely & utmost quality delivery for all the Marsh clients across the globe using Moody’s Risklink, Verisk’s Touchstone & CoreLogic
• Be the point of contact for all the project leads and act as a liaison between business and team in execution of the projects
• Assist with Cat modelling R&D projects to further develop knowledge on model methodologies.
• Challenge the status quo on the existing ways of working and propose new ways to achieve more efficiency.
• Coach and mentor the team members to bridge their capability gaps for the current and future needs of the business.
• Help in identifying new areas of opportunity to expand services to new business divisions / regions.
• Build internal documentation and training presentations around process specifications.
• Lead automation projects by interacting with other teams within the BU thereby creating a cross-team collaboration environment.
• Proactive interaction with stakeholders on modelling requirements and ad-hoc requests.

What you need to have :

Degree in Engineering / Mathematics / Statistics or related fields.
