Abinitio Developer - ETL / Data Integration

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement data integration workflows and ETL processes using Ab Initio GDE.
• Develop and maintain Ab Initio graphs, plans, and other Ab Initio components to meet project requirements.
• Work extensively within a Unix environment for data manipulation, scripting, and job scheduling.
• Utilize AWS cloud environment and its associated data services (e.g., S3, EC2, EMR, Redshift) for building scalable data solutions.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and validation across various database systems.
• Work with Big Data technologies, particularly HDFS, for storing and processing large datasets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ab Initio applications and data pipelines.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data architects, business analysts, and project managers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data integration processes and Skills :
• Proven experience as an Ab Initio Developer.
• Hands-on expertise with Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment).
• Strong command of the Unix operating system and shell scripting.
• Experience working with AWS cloud environments and its services relevant to data processing and storage.
• Deep understanding and practical application of SQL for complex data operations.
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies, specifically the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration Valued Skills :
• Familiarity with the Python programming language for data processing, analysis, and automation tasks.
• Previous working experience within the banking or financial services domain, with an understanding of relevant data models and

regulatory requirements.
