Data Migration Technical Lead

Job Description :

We are looking to hire a full-time employee as Data Migration Technical Lead who is a highly skilled Data Migration Specialist to lead and execute data migration activities as part of our Revenue Cloud implementation and transformation initiatives.

You would primarily be responsible and be part of Forsys Data Migration team for analyzing multiple source systems, consulting clients on data transformation, and executing end-to-end migration of data and documents.

Responsibilities :

• 5- 9 years of experience working as a data migration technical lead with hands-on experience in complex and challenging migration projects.
• Coordinate with the client to determine their data needs, including the types of data that need to be migrated, build data models from scratch and prepare data mappings.
• Cleanse data as necessary to remove the potential issues with data migration.
• Get sign-off and perform data loads.
• Follow best practice standards and protocols for migration of data.
• Evaluate different source systems to determine how to best move data from one system to another system (for example : Salesforce).
• Should have experience working with large volumes of data and methodology to process it concurrently.
• Perform data validation pre and post migration, come up with Data Reconciliation reports.
• Establish testing procedures to ensure that the migrated data is accurate and consistent with client specifications.
• Provide technical support for the data migration process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Create documentation of the migration process to serve as a guide for future migration projects.
• Collaborate and guide the team for the deliverables.
• Document the data analysis, mapping specifications, and prepare the Technical Design Document.
• Perform in High Pressure environment.
